Short-tailed Weasel (stoat, ermine), Mustela erminea

Kensington Metropark, July 7, 2019

Two short-tailed weasels were in this large hollow log.  They are the first weasels of any kind I've ever seen this close up!  One popped its head out, but then it was scared out of the hole by a second weasel who began running up and down the log.  Unfortunately, only the first photo is in focus, but it was such a neat experience that I am including all the photos.
