Many times when I have visited Chicago to see my favorite band, Project Object, I've thought about visiting Shedd Aquarium, but just didn't have the time. On June 17th, I drove out to Chicago to see the Zappa Plays Zappa concert at the Auditorium Theater. This time, I was able to stay one more day since I was on summer vacation, so I finally visited Shedd Aquarium. I always thought it was mostly geared toward fish, but there were plenty of other creatures there too, including lizards, frogs and even a few mammals. In fact, their main attraction was a Komodo Dragon. Unfortunately, he was asleep in a corner and I couldn't photograph him. Some pictures are spectacular, while others are below average, but I wanted to include everything possible. I separated them by type of animal.
