Lyle started rolling around on his rug while I had the camera out, so I took a couple of him, but unfortunately they're not in focus.

Lyle's teeth are still healing, so no spikeball again for these photos.  I had the camera out for other reasons, but Lyle always seems to want his picture taken when I get it out, so I took some of him today.  He is getting a new pink spot on the top right of his nose.

For once, these close-up photos of Lyle were not of him looking at Spikeball.  Unfortunately, he loosened his front teeth when he tripped on the stairs last week and his chin hit the riser.  His toys had to be taken away.  He seemed happy listening to me talk to him and take his photo though.

Once again, I had the camera out for other reasons, but Lyle seemed to want his picture taken too.

I put Tobin the toad on Lyle's rug to sun while Lyle was in his bed, which I've never done before.  This was Lyle's reaction when he was let out of his bed and found him.

Waterloo State Park, Eddy Discovery Center.

First, we did the spring pond trail.  When we got to the halfway point, Lyle decided to roll around and scrape up the ground.  Today ended up being all about digging and scraping.  Lyle didn't do a single hind leg scratch in the leaves today, which was pretty unusual.  I hope he didn't forget about it after not being out for a month (it's been in the high 80's and 90's until today, which was only 78).

Then we visited the 1776 Beech Tree, where he also rolled around and scraped up the ground, and of course, took a closer look at the tree when I asked him to.

He was pretty relaxed at the bog today.

The Big Tree Scene.

Resting on the grass near the car before heading out again.

At the Oakwoods Trail photo spot.  All Lyle wanted to do was dig and roll in the dirt, so he is really dirty for his photo shoot.
