Unknown Species
This ant was photographed on July 20, 2009 when it got in a photo of some baby jumping spiders I was photographing at the time. It was only about 1/4" long.
This ant was photographed on June 3, 2008. It had wandered into my living room. It was a little over 1/2 inch long, so it was quite a big ant. Also very friendly. It didn't try to bite and was pretty cooperative during its photo shoot.
