These two leeches were found on a large snapping turtle that I found in Hines Park. I removed them from the turtle's shell and released them in a different area after photographing them. Unfortunately, the photos didn't turn out as well as I would have liked. It was hard to get clarity with the layer of water. Even when I removed most of the water, either they were too reflective, or the macro lens just couldn't focus on enough of them---the shape was just too three-dimensional.
